Catering Liability Insurance

Employers’ liability insurance is a legal requirement if you employ people. It offers protection against claims from employees who have suffered an injury or illness arising out of their employment. The cover available complies with the UK’s compulsory employers’ liability law.

Employers’ liability cover can include:

• The legal fees involved in defending a prosecution under the Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Consumer Protection Act and Food Safety Act legal defence costs.

Public liability insurance covers the cost of claims made by members of the public for incidents that occur in connection with your business activities.

Public liability insurance covers the cost of compensation for:

• Personal injuries
• Loss of or damage to property
• Death

Product liability cover is a great addition to your business insurance policies. If someone falls ill with food poisoning or has an allergic reaction to something they ate from your food van, you’ll need to have the right cover to protect you from any legal action and the legal expenses involved.

Trailer Insurance

Mobilers can arrange a tailor-made insurance policy for your Mobile, Static or Portable Catering Trailer or Cabin to suit your requirements.

With two levels of cover available, we can find you cover that suits your needs and your wallet.

Choose from Accidental Damage, Fire and Theft (ADFT) or Accidental Damage and Fire (AD Fire).

We can arrange cover for mobile trailers and any permanent fixtures and fittings,.

Cover can be arranged for a variety of converted catering trailers.

Catering Van

Mobilers can arrange cover for a host of different Catering Vehicles, from Hot & Cold Food Dispensers to Ice Cream Vans, Jiffy Trucks.

• Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes can also be quoted for, along with any multi vehicle policies, with values ranging from £1,000 to £150,000 able to be covered.
• As well as cover for your Vehicle, we can also arrange cover for your Fixtures and Fittings, which can often exceed the value of the vehicle itself.
• Third-party towing risk is also covered under these policies, with Fire cover (whilst cooking) also included.
